The White Swan
The White Swan is the best known
environmental logo in Scandinavia. This applies in Sweden, Norway and
Finland. In Danmark people recognize the socalled Ø-logos,
wich is put on wrappings of organic food. In Iceland however, no
environmental logo has still captured people's attention.
This appears in a survey of the
Scandinavian minister-commitee.

Scandinavia. This appears in a new survey that the
Scandinavian minister-commitee presented in the parliament of Nordic counsil in
Stockholm. The survey shows the view that consumers in Scandinavian
have on environmental awareness and environmental logos.

When big quality- and environmental demands are made on products, official
environmental logos make it easier for consumers to choose
those products. Those environmental logos distinguish products that are
not as harmful for the environment from those wich can be harmful.
