Á Vélaverkstæði Jóhanns Viðars í Njarðvík er Undri tjöruhreinsir notaður til að þrífa bíla sem á eru mikil óhreinindi svo sem: olía, smurning, tjara, ryk, málning og önnur óhreinindi. Hitastig við hreinsun er 2-20° C. Efninu úðað óblönduðu á bílinn. Látið vinna í 10 mín. Bíllinn kústaður og þveginn með vatni. Byrjað neðst. Skolaður vel með vatni á eftir. Bíllinn verður algjörlega hreinn og glansandi. Engin þörf á eftirmeðhöndlun.
Á mínu verkstæði er Undri tjöruhreinsir einnig notaður til að þvo vélar, vélahluti og gólf. Einnig þvoum við okkur um hendurnar með Undra tjöruhreinsi. Hann er þá blandaður með vatni.

I'm one of those who use the wonderful detergent Undri.  I found out that it is the best tar-remover ever, but only if used as instructed.  I've heard people curse this detergent and say that it's no good.  That can be true if people don't follow the instructions.  The "magic" is to rinse the car with cold water before the detergent is applied on the car.  If this method is used, not detergent cleans better than Undri.  Besides, if the car is rinsed before washing, most of the mud and dirt is gone when you start to scrub the car and the paintwork is safer and you don't scratch your car with the tiny sandgrains in the mud.  Unlike some detergents when you mustn't wet your car before applying the detergent on it.  The only thing I have a problem with is a big pile of empty containers with perfectly useable pumps.  Would it be possible to buy refills (with no pumps)?
